Why is it magic? Because it is so easy, it tastes SO good and it is such a pleaser 🙂
You will need:
Two big bars of dark chocolate
600ml double cream
Really! That is it!
First, chop your chocolate finely. This will make the process easier and quicker!
Pour your cream into a saucepan and warm on a low heat. Add all of the chocolate. As soon as the heat goes on, you must keep stirring. If the cream is not stirred, the chocolate will burn and sink to the bottom.
As soon as the chocolate is melted and the cream is now a chocolate colour, turn the heat off.
I carry on mixing for at least a minute after the heat is off. If there are still chunks of chocolate in the cream that will not melt, it just means that there is a lot of chocolate!
Pour the mix into ramekins and leave to cool down.
When they have cooled to room temperature, put them in the fridge. They should stay in there overnight or at least until they are firm. This takes about 4 hours.
